However, it was wet wood when I started and it moved pretty good with the grain as it dried over a couple of weeks, so it was a bit oblong . ... The bark had a few tiny gaps where it joined the tree, so I dropped some thin CA in, worked great while I was refining the outside. The strong temptation is to soak all of the bark in CA.
