Web28 Nov 2015 · The hose has a white dot on it I think, you will see a small hole in the hose, remove the clamp and pull hose back so hole is exposed (no longer touching core tube) but some of hose remains on the tube. Next, remove the water pump and the thermostat. Test the thermostat by putting it into boiling water.
