I reversed the saddles so i could get the saddles to move back a bit farther. These strings would intonate a bit sharp at the 12 fret. This didn't help. I took a fine file and filed the nut slots just a bit. WebCheck your nut slot at the high E position. If it is dirty, clean it with string or whatever other improvised tool you can use. If the slot is too small for the string gauge that you're using, you could restring it using a smaller gauge. Before the action was too low and the saddle screws were at their max so I shimmed it. The action is great now. -The saddle is flush with the body with 5 springs holding it. That is, the distance from the speaking side of the nut to the middle of the 12th fret will be very close to equal to the distance from the middle of the 12th fret to the contact point of the saddle.
