WebJust picked up the pace again after the Steam release and on my last fortress something is wrong. Found a light aquifer, dug down on said aquifer, cleared a room on an aquifer layer, waited for water to get mud on the floor, built a farm, smoothed the walls. So far so good. Problem was, water was still coming out. I checked, twice. WebAug 8, 2015 · Dig a shaft down to the caverns directly underneath one of the walls of the flooded area. Approach the flooded area from the side (make sure you can seal that tunnel) and dig a channel above the shaft. You may need to make the shaft larger than 1x1 or dig multiple shafts so the water flows out faster than it can flow in.
