If you have at least 6 GB of vram on your GPU, Slow hard drive mode should always be enabled. All it does it precache some of the world streaming data into vram. Part of the problem for the consoles is their APU’s need to share that ram between both GPU and CPU needs, which is why it probably does this sometimes. plz software

You load Monster Hunter World like 8x faster on a PC with an HDD than on the PS4 with an SSD! Don't even look at the PS4 HDD times. You spoke in real generalities, without any actual information. It's a bad practice. I don't see any difference when I activate it either, then again, I have a SSD.
